On March 06, the ship registered in Panama entered Yingkou Port2 days ahead of the time, this is the new record in the history since it has the ship came to Yingkou after the harbor business began.

by the end of 1995, Yingkou Port has entered the list of the larger port in accordance with the handling capacity. The actual handling capacity is over 10 million tons.

In the year of 1996, Yingkou Port has the first international liner to R.O.K. China Ocean Container Shipping Company has a ship sailed to R.O.K form Bayuquan, it symbols the formal open of the international container liner

In the year of 1996, Yingkou Port has the first refrigerated express train from Jilin province to Bayuquan Port, the refrigerated poultry would be all exported to Japan by Ling he cargo ship from China Ocean Container Shipping Company. The reception of the first refrigerated train symbols the further perfect of the port function.

　In the year of 1997, Yingkou Port has the first liner to S. Africa.

In the year of 1998, Yingkou Port has the first international ocean-railway joined transportation.　　

Yingkou is one of the areas with most convenient land transportation in China. Zhongchang Railway, Harbin-Dalian Highway and Shenyang-Dalian Expressway pass through the whole area, and  Yingkou is connected with the three provinces of northeast China and four leagues of Inner Mongolia by network of communication .
